ETJC wants to give a BIG THANKS to all those that supported our weekend race event via sponsorship, volunteering their time and assistance, participated in and even those that just came out to enjoy an exciting bicycle racing event.  The event brought in racers not only from the local area and the state of Tennessee, but we had racers from Alabama, Kentucky, Mississippi, North and South Carolina, Texas and Virginia.

   ETJC had a great weekend competing at Avery Trace and Cookeville Crit.  The racing results for ETJC racers were: Paul Galewski (15-16 Jr) 1st RR, 3rd TT, 2nd Crit; Jordan Galewski (15-16 Jr female) 1st RR, 1st TT, 1st Crit; Danae Kreiss (10-14 Jr female) 1st RR, 1st TT, 1st, Crit; Taylor White (Cat 4 Mens) RR 10th, Cat 4 Mens TT 8th, (15-16 Jr) Crit 1st, (Cat 4 Mens) Crit 2nd (photo finish to declare the winner)

  ETJC would like to give a BIG thanks to Fraizer Cycling for providing a wonderful Cycling camp for Juniors in Mountain City, GA.  ETJC sent majority of the team to the camp.  All the riders expressed how much fun they had on and off their bike as well as meeting new friends from around the southeastern USA, during the week at camp.  Thanks again Friazier Cycling.

  ETJC again performed greatly during the TN State Crit held in Johnson City, TN.  CONGRATULATIONS to ETJC racers Taylor White, Danae Kriess, Jordon Galewski and Danae Kriess for winning the TN State Crit Championship Jersey in the 15-16 yr old males, 10-14 yr old females, 15-16 yr old females and 17-18 yr old females respectfully.  Also Congratulations goes out to Jessica Lang (2nd - 10-14 yr old females), Connor Tankersley (3rd - 10-14 yr old boys), Nelson Lundburg (5th - 10-14 yr old boys), Nolan Tankersley (2nd - 15-16 yr old boys), Paul Galewski (3rd - 15-16 yr old boys) and Keven Trinkle (6th 15-16 yr old).  GREAT JOB ETJC.

  Picture of the day at TN State Crit.  Even as a young Junior, ETJC understands what TEAM is all about (notice Paul on the far left of the picture).  Paul is celebrating before the finish as his teammate caputured 2nd and he realizes that tactics worked as ETJC swept the podium by taking the top three places in the 15-16 yr old boys.

CONGRATULATIONS to ETJC racers Jessica Lang, Jordon Galewski and Danae Kriess for capturing the TN State Road Race Championship Jersey in the 10-14 yr old females, 15-16 yr old females and 17-18 yr old females respectfully.

       

Despite the damages to the bikes and equipment from the crash in the junior field and with a wheel truck not provided, all ETJC junior boys did an outstanding job and displayed great sportsmanship during the situation.
